After five-years working in the Home Showroom and Art Acquisitions departments at Ralph Lauren, Julie was inspired go out on her own as a freelance stylist. At Ralph Lauren Julie studied the value of design and refined her organizational and managerial skills. But Julie’s eye for composition and arrangement was her own from the very start.
Now Julie, a born and bred Manhattanite, decamped to Brooklyn and takes great pride in her job. Her BA in Art History, her work as a docent at the Dia:Beacon museum, and her experience at Ralph Lauren, all refined her vision. In prop styling Julie found a way to merge her curatorial eye and attention to detail with her love of objects. You can see the pleasure in her face when she arranges her images, the satisfaction in her eyes when she captures the moment, and her appreciation of each scene as its own work of art.
